Walk on the Water.

These lyrics have imprinted my mind from the first moment I heard them on the radio. Day to day we can say we believe in God and that we’re strong Christians and we hold close to our faith…..but when circumstances change for us, suddenly we become different people and try to control the situation ourselves. Why would you take a situation, one greater than you, and handle it yourself when you have an Almighty God who is willing to take care of it for you?
We all know that in the end of every situation we face, no matter what we do, it doesn’t impact the results. God has his plan…..no matter what you do or try to do to change it, it doesn’t change. So instead of stressing and planning and trying to find a way out, just let God handle it. I know most of you are probably thinking that its harder than just letting go. Its really not. After awhile you don’t stress anymore. You know when something happens its easier just to give it up and pray about it rather than stress and contemplate an issue that you have no impact over.
This morning in church I heard an amazing quote. “What you think of when you think of God is the most important thing about you” -A.W. Tozer
Isn’t it true! If you think of God and just think he’s a ruler and you don’t see him as your Father and as someone that is there to talk with and help you get through each day then you should adjust the way you see him. God is amazing!
So this is the first blog i’ve ever posted… Depending on the results from this I may continue. I love being able to just get these things off my mind. If you have an opinion or question please feel free to post! Thanks for reading !
